fire nation. The Fire Nation rules the world now -- quite literally. Here you can find the royal family, prestigious educational facilities, a majority of prisons and camps, and plenty of red. |

northern water tribe. Not even the Northern Water Tribe was able to withstand the Fire Nation forever; now, this very large piece of Water Nation society is controlled entirely by the Fire Nation, and almost every known water bender was thrown in prison or jailed. That's not to say some of them were sneaky enough to hide it. This land is now overrun by a large prison facility and used for military training. |

southern water tribe. The Southern Water Tribe was destroyed completely by the Fire Nation. Those who hadn't fled already were either killed or imprisoned: the young and physically fit were imprisoned or sent to work for the Fire Nation factories and farmlands; the elderly were killed or sent to make clothing or serve the wealthy families; babies and very small children were sent to be trained for the military. This land is now overrun with military factories. |

earth kingdom. The Earth Kingdom makes up a large portion of the mainland, and it used to be more protected than the Water Tribe and Air Temples; after Ba Sing Se was overtaken from the inside, the entire Kingdom became war prisons, military factories, and farmland. |

air temples. At one point, the four Air Temples were a nice place for refugees if they had the right tools to get there. Now, the Fire Nation has developed the technology to access the Temples, and now they're just another accessory to the Fire Nation. |

other territories. Technically, the Fire Nation has overrun just about every island, cave, canyon, and mountain there is to take, but a few places have managed to get along with the influences of the military or prison life. That's not to say the Fire Nation doesn't check up on them from time to time. |

The Northern Air Temple A temple with white and blue towers, once inhabited by Airbenders, flying bison and lemurs, it is now barren and abandoned. To one side lays the Air Ball Arena and at the one end is the Sanctuary, holding statues of all the previous Avatars. At the entrance stands a statue of Monk Gyatso. |
